Estimate needed for wooden rack
I need a labor estimate for a wooden rack/shelf similar to the one in the pictures, with the following requirements. ETA for start would be end of December '25. Please let me know if I can provide more details or answer questions.
1. The shelf needs to be easily broken down and reassembled
2. The spacing between the shelves need to be 6", 8" and 12", top to bottom
3. Shelves need to be made from stacked and glued Baltic birch ply, the top and bottom shelves need to be 3X 0.75in, 2nd and 3rd shelves 2x 0.75in. The plywood would be pre-finished and closer to the required-size and would need minor trimming
4. The ladder framed leg section need to be rectangle, instead of trapezoidal as in the picture, using 2x2 or 3x3 walnut or mahogany posts
5. The cross members of the ladder frame need to be dado-ed and glued into the posts with 1" stand out ledges. The shelves would need to be screwed up to the ledge portions
6. Sharp edges of the posts need to be minimally rounded for safety
7. M6/8 t-nuts installed into the bottom of the legs
8. While the shelves themselves would be pre-finished, the edges along with the ladder frame needs to be finished with 2 coats of Polyx oil
